Obstacle, 2014, (wood, metal, paint)
Installation in-situ at Manoir de Martigny (CH) at the group exhibition Show-Showed-Shown. The work was changing the usual flow and free walking within the exhibition spaces and it urged to engage or confront a level of frustration. and failure, competition and sports into this specific exhibition space.

“L’obstacle peut être observé ou contourné, mais il ne peut être ignoré. (Jump a little Higher) Il faudrait se relationnel aux entre-deux des espaces, proposer un nouveau parcours, inviter au saut. Il faudrait calculer ses pas, prévoir les distances, tenir la tête lée. Se fondre dans le decors, remplir le vide. Il faudrait être un peu embêtant. (Au final) Il faudrait être un peu plus sportif. (Clairement) Il faudrait sauter un peu plus haut. (où pas sauter du tout) (Entre nous) Il faudrait dresser des obstacles.” Christina Jonsson, 2014.
